The new suit is about charging illegal fees. But if the attorney generals of each state want real leverage they need only demand discovery responses to one simple question: Name the Creditor Who Authorized You to Act as Agent, Servicer, or Power of Attorney.
Ocwen doesn’t have any money to pay fines, penalties and damages, but the Wall Street stockbrokers (aka Investment banks) sure do — and they will pay to escape any requirement that they respond to that question.

I contacted NY AG many times about Wall Street Fraud. Zero attention.
I will contact again, of course – but my prediction is:
With Ocwen it will be another laughable settlement without admitting or denying anything and maybe several million “fine” paid by Wall Street banks with stolen from homeowners money.
Crime victims will get $10-15 for damages and Ocwen will continue to rob homeowners, probably under different names.
Wall Street masterfully transform their mob by renaming them and promoting as “principlas”.
Lenders’ Processing Services is Black Knight now
DocX, LLC is actually still DocX, LLC under Black Knight.
Countrywide Financial is now “biggest Lenders” and “Servicers” PennyMac and Caliber who lie non-stop to homeowners and authorities;
Fremont is HomeExpressMortgage for people and so on
My suggestion – contact JUDGES who handle foreclosures and who handle these bogus settlements
Disclose to THEM all details, make JUDGES uncomfortable to approve these settlements.
Each chancery court has about 30-50 judges, its about 2-3 books of stamps, or $40-60
Invest in stamps and send JUDGES in your district Notices under Misprision of Felony, 18 USC 4.
Judges MUST read and record such Notices and react to them, its their professional obligation.
18 USC 4. Whoever, having knowledge of the actual commission of a felony cognizable by a court of the United States, conceals and does not as soon as possible make known the same to some judge or other person in civil or military authority under the United States, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both.
Hi StillFighting. I can answer that. Ocwen Financial acquired PHH Mortgage Corporation – it is a subsidiary now of Ocwen Financial. . Ocwen Loan Servicing is gone. But PHH is not the real servicer, they are hired by New Residential – who acquired Master Servicing rights from Ocwen in 2015 (but not actually transferred until 2017). And, Sub-servicing not transferred (by New Residential) until 2019 to PHH. So PHH is just the hired help. Your welcome.
Neil,
What is relation between Ocwen and PHH?
Thank you in advance!
It would be helpful if we had a Link to the actual Complaint, as then it could be referenced under Judicial Notice doctrines.
These fees are only related to extra fee when a payment is made by phone or online. There are numerous other illegal fees — that are related to “servicing” processing and foreclosure. But, that is way to complicated for AGs to comprehend. Not the brightest bulbs in the chandelier.
