Livinglies 2011 in review

The stats helper monkeys prepared a 2011 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

London Olympic Stadium holds 80,000 people. This blog was viewed about 2,400,000 times in 2011. If it were competing at London Olympic Stadium, it would take about 30 sold-out events for that many people to see it.

  1. if that is the case than we need to start a petition to get congress to pay attention to us. let a petition start here, can imagine 2,400,000 to go to a congressional hearing on foreclosure. the press should not be denied than. i will be the first. robert wade. they will need tobe collected and subpoena congress, need the procedure to attain this goal. petitioners could also be occupy america or 1% group signing in notriety.

  2. who is watching?

  3. how about how many hits from law firms, banks, and the federal government?
    what agencies?

  4. That a boy, Neil!

But… let’s keep it into perspective, shall we?

Eversince I discovered Livinglies, and it’s not been very long, half a year at best, I’ve managed to visit it something like… 8 to 10 times a day. Some people have known about it for years and visit it as much.

It would be interesting to count visits by visitors’ names. The Olympics last a whole week. Two at most. You’ve been up for 4, maybe 5 years, right?

That, Neil, is the reason fewer than 10% homeowners fight their foreclosure. Not too many new visitors. Lots of great information but not enough visibility yet. I’m working on it by sending your link to everyone I know who is dealing with foreclosure and I’m sure we all are but there is a resistance to account for: we’re still the “deadbeats” in the collective American mind. And people are afraid of a good fight!

Still, you’re doing a hell of a service and you are needed. So, keep it up, please. We need you. But stay humble… Wait for us to give you that pat in the back. Otherwise, it’s a tad crass, don’t you think?

Nope. No medal yet. Foreclosure not resolved yet. We’ll let you know when you deserve one…

  5. Once you sign a mediation agreement between a bank and a borrower through a 3rd or 4th party – is it binding?

  6. I’m confused….are we all going to London?
