From Jeanette Bendetti:
I think we should have a good old fashioned “no way”
day. That’s it, we are not moving and you can take your foreclosures and put them someplace. Do they
have enough people to put everyone out of their home
if everyone says NO> I’m thinking judges, officers of the court, police, summons servers and every other
living human in this country are just handing their homes over to Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. Is there a way to find out what their inventory is and inventory by each state. When will it end, it does not serve any
logical purpose. Families and the middle class
prosper when they have a place to lay their heads and
come home to at night. How does any of this do any
thing except make the rich richer. A HALT is needed
on all foreclosures in America. The same way a fence
is needed between the U.S. and Mexico. There is a
better way to do this, a more humane and careful and
legal way. Is this what America is now, a bunch of
poor people who have no jobs and sit in the streets,
while the foreclosure table is piled with money and
everyone walks by and takes a scoop, except the
family who is affected by this illegal and horrible
adgenda. I am so tired of this fight, I just got home from a brain tumor operation and now have a blood
clot in my head, have gone deaf and may go blind
in one eye. And here comes the wonderful people
at One West, by the way lady, get out of your home.
I am tired of depending on integrity, Washington has
finished that off. I am tired of trying to find a lawyer
who is as sick of this as I am. When do we stand up
and say NO MORE. We built this country, with hard
work and blood shed on the battle field, Now, you
can call Pakistan for your Discovery Bill. Am I the only
one sitting here going, What the Hell is going on.

thank you all for the kindness, I appreciate it more
than you know. It seems to me that the only way
we can fix this is with the help of each other. God
Bless you all for caring.

I can not imagine going through what you are facing with your house, on top of your medical problems. I wish you a speedy recovery. I agree with you completely. We said “no” we are not moving when our home went to foreclosure in Dec. 2007 and by the grace of God we are still here and fighting, although here lately, it is starting to take it’s toll on me. We go back to court on Monday, so I guess we will see. But fighting back and NOT LEAVING is definately worth it. I have seen so many of my neighbors pack up and leave, some in the middle of the night, before I could tell them that they are not alone, and to stay and fight. When I do try to inform people they look at you like you are crazy, yes it is complicated, and completely evil the way this mortgage mess has taken shape. It’s not like it used to be when our parents got a mortgage and paid monthly to the banker in town for thirty years. If you defaulted they took your house, now there are horror stories of people who were never late being foreclosed on, it’s madness!….Anyway, God Bless you and get better so you can keep up the fight. And remember, the only good that has come out of all this is you don’t have someone calling you fifteen times a day, especially during dinner, wanting to refinance you…I always hated that!!
What we need is neighborhood militias with rifles to surround the house and tell the bankers if they so much as show their faces nearby we will drop them where they are standing like a rotten sack of potatoes. Each bank will get one warning after which the militia goes to the bank itself, takes back the amount of cash that it received in tax dollars to remain “undead” like a vampire on our blood and tell them they can now close their doors and file a BK as they should have in the first place or they can be tried and executed as they so richly deserve to be now!
One West and Indy-Mac suck don’t they? “Show me the money.” is all they know. No humanity. The whole process in upside down and they do not care.
No, Jeanette, you are not the only one thinking this shouldn’t be happening. We all are.
Okay, people. Here’s an idea. How about all of us going to the opening of “Inside Job” with an orange jumpsuit on with the name of your favorite banking mafia blazened on the front and the back. We all need to stand outside the movie theater on opening night. Are you with me?? Make signs, have your jumpsuit on hand. In every major city, there are Halloween costumes and these suits ARE available. They are cheap and it would make a statement.
Please join.
Jeanette Bendetti: I am breaking my rule of postoing links and want to let you know that there are calls to rally http://zingervotes.blogspot.com/2010/09/big-bank-backs-down-for-now-halts.html
I dont’ have the link but http://mattweidnerlaw.com/blog/ had a post about SAVING AMERICA . I know that is the call by many of the foreclosure people in Phoenix. We are having a free seminar today to get the word out to people in distress about their options. Many have NO CLUE that they can fight it.
I am thrilled to see that some are getting it. NEIL has been so great about informing people. He was speaking a coupel years ago and my friend went to the seminar and then taught us and told us about Neil and others that were fighting. AT the time Beth Findsen seemed to be the only lawyer in town that “got it” but she had a huge backlog… now others are getting in the trenches.
I THINK YOU ARE RIGHT ONE DAY or ONE WEEK of rally’s and stuff might make a HUGE difference and its coming.
